Jeez, what fun. Spent most of today specifying a new area of Was genuinely inspired the other day at the Social Media Forum at IBM’s “Innovation that matters” competition (where staff were asked to submit short videos to answer the question “what is innovation” and 520 (!) responded – check out for some of the results)   and concluded that the time is ripe to offer our lovely clients an internal YouTube service. We’ve already got 90% of it on – the video upload, transcode, publish and distribute bits, but what was missing was the rating, tagging and commenting machinery. Really enjoyed working out the rules behind the features.  And once it’s built, I can lean on all my talented colleagues to contribute videos – after all they’re out there with cameras all the time.
